Getting ready is all about the gear. Backpack-check. Sleeping bag-check. Sleeping bag ground pad-check. Trumpet-check. And food. Multi-packs of Ramen Noodles-check. A dozen cans of Chef Boy-ar-dee (yes, really); and a last minute jar of p'nut butter from the parents as a parting gift.
I'm guessing it weights about 100 pounds!
